WHEN SHOULD ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENT BEGIN?
For all fertility patients I highly recommend starting treatment around 3mths before trying to conceive, or IVF. This is because there is usually some work to do around dietetics, nutrition, and your menstrual cycle overall. At times we may find that pregnancy is eluding you because of where your ovulation is. This is where expertise come in, and we can figure out exactly where you are ovulating in the cycle. Which may be the missing piece for you!
It is greatly beneficial when partners who are providing the other part of the process (the semen) receive treatment too. Improving sperm quality is something every parent should work towards-giving the best of themselves to their child.
A thorough health assessment is done to ensure appropriate acupuncture treatment is given during your consultation. This includes understanding any existing health conditions, and being aware of your pregnancy journey from start to finish.

PRE and POST TRANSFER ACUPUNCTURE
Recommendations are to receive acupuncture as close to transfer as possible. Consult with your practitioner to work out the best timing for your embryo transfer. We can also consult with your IVF or Fertility Clinic around what will work best in your case.
